Did you remember to bring your sonic screwdriver and your phaser? I hope so!

Scott and David Tipton have been working hard on a very special comics event -- The Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who miniseries for IDW, which begins later this month! They have some very interesting things to say about the project, including the fact that they can't wait for you to get to read it!

Next I give a quick review of the latest books, followed by Pete Casazza from Big Planet Comics talking about how Free Comic Book Day and the month of April went in his popular comics shop in College Park, Maryland. Everything wraps up with 'News & Previews' with Gianluca Glazer and Ian Cullen.

A few weeks ago myself and the shows sound editor T. Shawn Hardy hit on the idea of invited guests, which can include professionals and other podcasters as well as our own staff to come on the show and list their all time top ten list of favorite movies.

The idea being to see how much these peoples tastes differ from our own, but also because we thought it would be fun.

So this is the first of our Movie Top Tens and taking us through their list in this show is Joe Flore from the popular Megapodzilla Podcast.

In this next hour and 20 minutes Joe and I go through his list and discuss the various films listed and look at the impact that some of his movies have had on popular culture.

If you have missed one of our past shows you can catch up by clicking here for a list of our most recent shows at our iTunes store. All of them our free to download.

Sam Johnson and Mike Gagnon are sharing a parody comic called The Almighties! (I wonder what comics or movie that could be about!) We discuss the characters, the book's creation, and what projects they have coming you should know about. You can find out more about the comic by going to the book's website, www.thealmighties.com.

Next I give a quick review of the latest books, followed by comics creator David Miller joining me to talk about the latest 'News & Previews,' and everything wraps up with my peek into your local comics shop.

Wow, for awhile there it didn't look like we were going to get episode 49 ready before I left for my new house, but somehow we managed it despite some real life issues getting in the way.

This episode is massively cut back to the point where we're featuring a stand alone interview with the lovely Lee Meriwether who is best known to genre fans for a number of television shows, but is perhaps best known to fans of Batman for her portrayal of Catwoman in the 1966 movie, which was shot after the TV series.

Over the course of 40 minutes Lee looks back at her career and discusses some of the fantastic people show got to work with on Batman as well as on Star Trek and Mission Impossible. So be sure not to miss out on this if you have a love of television from what many would consider a classic era.

He talks about how he got into comics, how Mouse Guard came to be, and updates us on many of the projects both large and small he's making happen. (Just FYI, the music that leads into and out of his interview is called "Ballad Of The Ivory Lass." David wrote the words, with music and vocals provided by Jesse Glen.)

For this episode I catch up with Executive Producer and co creator of TNTs Leverage for a chat.

During the course of our chat John Rogers gives a few hints as to what we can expect to see in the new series, but also discusses the characters and their respective journey's. We also briefly touch on some of his comic book work. Specifically Dungeons and Dragons.

For this week in Television I'm joined by Raissa who discusses her thoughts on Once Upon A Time and how it has progressed. The gist being that the background characters seem to be the ones that are carrying the show.

No interview in this week's show. So instead Wayne and I decided to give our thoughts on Jim Butchers Dresden Files: Ghost Story, which came out in late summer of last year and is likely to be in Paperback pretty soon if it isn't already.

For the TV Segment we discuss our thoughts on the new Kiefer Sutherland series Touch, which has recently just hit in the UK.

For this week in Comics I discuss my excitement about issue 7 of Detective comics while Wayne waxes Lyrical about Atomic Robo and Gianluca eunthuses about his reading experience of Peanuts from Boom Studios.

As ever its a jam packed show this week and we hope to continue to bring more great content in the coming weeks.

If you would like to check out some of our older episodes you can do so by clicking here for our I-tunes store, which lists a fair few of our older shows, which are available for free.

Keep any out for next weeks show in which we'll be featuring an interview with Leverage Executive producer John Rogers who throws us some subtle teases for season five of the hit TNT series, which is currently airing its third season on FX Channel in the UK.
